Haier Washing Machine Error Codes — ERR1, ERR2, ERR5, ERR6, UNB Explained

Door Lock Error

| ERR1 | Door lock error — the door does not lock properly. UBL mechanism, hinge, or control board issue. |
Do not force the door — this will damage the lock mechanism further.
Drainage Error

| ERR2 | Drain error — water is not pumped out. Pump, filter, hose, or board communication issue. |

Heating Errors

| ERR3 | NTC sensor error — water temperature is measured incorrectly. |
| ERR4 | Heating error — the heating element is not working or overheating. |
Baku's hard water accelerates heater failure. But ERR4 can also point to a relay or board issue — only a technician can tell.
Water Inlet Errors

| ERR5 | Water inlet error — the machine cannot fill with water within the set time. |
| ERR8 | Overflow error — too much water in the drum. The valve does not shut off. |
ERR8 is an emergency. Immediately turn off the machine and close the water tap. Call us.
Motor Errors

| ERR6 | Motor error — the motor does not spin or runs erratically. |
| ERR7 | Tachogenerator error — no motor speed signal reaching the board. |
